May I Have Some Morris, Please...

I found a beautiful jewel in the travesty known as the “Kobe” issue of LA Times Magazine: the Chrissie Morris “Dora” sandal, inspired by the lost Mayan city of Mirador in Guatemala.

For $1,625, you can buy these shoes at Zainab on Melrose or at

What I loved more than this sandal were all the awesome shoes on the Chrissie Morris website. It is an open-toed heaven! Grab a glass of wine, go to, and enjoy.

Hi Tech Heels?

A hi-heel that collapses into a flat or a pump? Apparently this phenomenon has many women excited, including Tyra Banks, who did a spot on them on her show.

While this is an ingenious idea, the shoes are not quite cute yet. And for many, the cost may be prohibitive. There are a couple of lines available now by different companies, one of which is an insurance company that wants women to drive in safer shoes. (I admit, I take off my super cutes when I drive, especially because I drive a stick and the heel tends to get stuck under the clutch.) Check them out: Prices range from $260 -$330.
This is the before and after for one of the shoes.

These shoes are made by Camileon Heels, and they currently have about 16 styles available. I thought these were the cutest:

The driving shoe is made by Sheila's Wheels. The heels collapse all the way down to a flat. The shoes were made by a British Insurance company and are currently only available on line.

So what do you think? Would you wear the collapsible heel?

Jimmy Choo + H&M = Heaven on Earth

I heard a delicious rumor on Twitter today and ran to the internet to check it out: Jimmy Choo is designing shoes for H&M. Its true! Check out the article here. Jimmy Choo shoes, accessories, and clothing will hit 200 H&M stores around the globe on November 14th. They are expected to sell out quickly. I died a little when I saw the preview:

How cute are those???? Okay, I'm setting aside the date, buying some snacks for the line that I am sure will be around the block, and putting on my boxing gloves to beat these other girls back. I am getting some Jimmy Choos, size 8 please.

Thank you Ms. Kardashian

Shoe Dazzle sent me my June pics. I have to admit, I wasn't impressed. I asked them to send me some new pics and I am super excited! Check out these summer beauties.

The third and last pair are my favorite, but I also think the first one is super cute too. What do you think? Which pair should I get?

Color Me Dazzled!

I went to dinner with a friend on Friday night. Of course, I noticed her brand new super cute shoes! She quickly asked me if I had heard of Was I late? Was there a shoe site that I didn't know about? is Kim Kardashian's site. The site offers a monthly shoe subscription where you get shoes picked out for you by a personal shopper. For $39.99 a month, you select one of 5 pairs of shoes chosen specifically for you. Once you've chosen, they mail them to you, with no additional shipping or handling charges. Its a FANTASTIC idea. Every month you look forward to a new pair of shoes! You know I went straight home and signed up - recession be damned.

My 5 choices this month:

Cute, huh?!?!?! The cool thing is that if you don't like any of your choices, you can ask that they re-shop for you and give you all new choices. And if you try the shoes on and don't like them, you can send them back and exchange them for another pair without consequence. I could just kiss Kim Kardashian! Now, which shoes should I choose...

Boots that Make You Say Hmmmm, Part 1

Just ran across these boots on Overstock. Not sure what I think of them... They are interesting, to say the least. At the minimum, they are a conversation starter. "Wow! Check out your boots!" "I know, aren't they wild?!"

The Luichiny Patia Women's Tall Shaft Boot is available on for $109.99.

All I want for Christmas are my Jessica Simpson Boots!

I first fell in love with Jessica Simpson's boots last Christmas when I received a pair of tall, gorgeous brown boots. They felt great on and they looked even better. The guy at Nordstrom told me that her boots are made in the same factory as BeBe's shoes, so they have excellent soles.

Can't wait to try on a few of these. The last pair are a particular favorite of mine (hint, hint)!

The Lains in Glove Sheep Sand.
It's also very cute in the dark brown.

The Mallory in Dark Brown

The Roha
It comes in 3 different colors - all ridiculously cute
and classy.

The Saldro!!!
These shoes are the reason why I decided to feature
Jessica Simpson shoes in this post.
They also come in black - both are very sexy.
(I would get with me in these shoes!)
